One of the coolest places I'll ever be ☝️🤙

We were there on a Monday night. Most everyone other than our small group there seemed to be musicians who got up and performed with each other. Some were pretty good. It is a nice small intimate space.

It's an awesome place to see real music by people who love to play, amazing. I loved it.

Reminds me of Roadhouse only without the violence. Great place to drink and Rock n roll

It is THE music venue / party hearty place in the Hamptons. From National acts to great local bands, The Talkhouse is legendary. Many celebrity sitings who often jump up with the band. It’s a must visit when on eastern Long Island.

Playing Music there is a Great time. The stage and PA always sound great. The crowd always enjoys the music more than the TV. Looking forward to playing there again.

Fun crowd. I agree with other reviews that it is a dive bar, but it has the vibe of come as you are. Great bar for dancing and drinks after a long day on the beach. The band was pretty good. Glad we stopped to visit this place!

Best place ever for live music

Great place for music and cocktails. Went to see Third World reggae band which was fantastic! Best live show I've seen in a while, crowd loved them.

Strong late night bar option for the Hamptons. When I visited there was great live music from cover band "LHT." The cover charge is staggeringly high: $40 each person. Prompt bartender attention for such a crowded scene. It is nice that it's not so crowded that you have to physically push to move around. Plenty of areas to hang our or dance - including a back room with a pool table (which was covered by a piece of plywood by 11pm when we went) and an outside patio. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean, my female friends reported the same from their side and that it was even actively being cleaned late at night. The crowd is pretty young. Feels like college kids and a kind of Northeast fraternity-like feel - to be expected in this locale. Overall, quite a fun experience if you can survive the highway robbery at the front door.

That is one of the busiest place in the Hamptons good place to have fun

Great venue for live music

Had an absolute blast. They had a real fun band they performed a buck of random covers.Drinks served quickly and they we're packed.Very vacation friendly spot.

It was a packed party in there and the Radio Riot band had us jumping and dancing and singing it was a great night.

$40 cover is NOT litty. But one of the only places to go out in EH. Solid crows in the evening

Still the one- authentic, old -school, no fancy pants, rock-out classic. Endure the crowd for one of the best nights of your life. Saw Levon Helm, Jimmy Buffett, Gregg Allman, tons of great nights here. House band Nancy Atlas rocks it!

An intimate musical experience

Never had a bad experience or any problems here. Bar tender is swift and good on service. Music is ALWAYS great, and many regulars often attend. Not many places for social events around here besides dance clubs perhaps but the locals gather here.

Intimate live music venue in the middle of Main Street in Amagansett. The building features four bars, of which one is outside on a patio, a stage and what would seem an ample amount of seating space, though that isn’t quite the case with how busy the place gets. Occasionally featuring Musical legends they more often house evenings of local talent and up and coming musicians. The place doesn’t offer food, but no one cares as it holds one of a very few nightclub permits in the town, with a stage and dance floor, small though it may be. The crowd gets super mixed, from Locals, tourists, garbage men and investment bankers, wrong side of the tracks meets jet-set on most occasions and that’s really what makes the place so awesome. There is no true “type” for The Talkhouse. Just people who like music and love a good time.
